Cup of Swords Tavern is seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our team. We are a medieval and renaissance-themed establishment focused on providing excellent service in a lively, immersive environment.This position requires strong bartending skills, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a willingness to participate in the themed atmosphere by wearing period-appropriate attire and engaging courteously with guests.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks.</li><li>Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to all guests.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, supplies, and equipment.</li><li>Handle cash and card transactions accurately.</li><li>Restock bar inventory and ensure product rotation.</li><li>Adhere to all alcohol service laws, health, and safety standards.</li><li>Contribute to a welcoming, themed atmosphere consistent with the tavern&rsquo;s medieval/renaissance concept.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum 1 year of bartending or barback experience (themed or hospitality setting preferred).</li><li>Knowledge of drink preparation, mixology, and responsible alcohol service.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy shifts.</li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older.</li><li>Availability to work evenings, weekends, and special events.</li><li>Current Washington State Class 12 Mixology Permit (MAST Certification)</li></ul>Additional Requirements:<ul><li>Costumes are mandatory. Staff are required to wear medieval or renaissance-style attire while on duty.</li><li>Costumes are not provided by the establishment.
