SUMMARY: The Barista contributes to carrying out the principles and mission of CupKates. The Barista must be passionate about serving others, providing great customer service, and have a positive attitude.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Makes and serves coffee, juice, and smoothies</li><li>Makes sandwiches, salads, oatmeal, and parfaits</li><li>Adheres to recipe and presentation guidelines</li><li>Speaks and interacts with regular and new customers</li><li>Maintains a clean and sanitized work station</li><li>Maintains a clean dining area</li><li>Follows health and safety guidelines</li><li>Performs cash handling responsibilities</li><li>Performs other asks as directed</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Education and work experience</li><li>Must be at least 16 years old</li><li>1+ year(s) of customer service experience preferred</li><li>Skills, Knowledge and Abilities</li><li>Must be able to work during the morning or day time</li><li>Must be able to deal professionally and tactfully with customers and co-workers at all times</li><li>Must have good interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Must work efficiently in a quick-paced working environment requiring multitasking and prioritization</li><li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule</li><li>Must be punctual, dependable and reliable</li><li>Must be able to contribute to a positive team</li><li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds</li><li>Job includes major amounts of standing, walking, reaching, hearing and talking</li><li>Environmental conditions include a mild to loud noise level</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timeExpected hours: 18 &ndash; 24 per weekWork Location: In person
