Position is for DAY SHIFT [M-F 8 AM to 5 PM, ] Hours may adjust based on business needs. Our dispatchers play a crucial role in coordinating the transportation of goods and ensuring efficient operations. Your responsibilities will include managing shipments and communicating with drivers to meet our customer's delivery windows.Duties:<ul><li>Ensure scheduled route plans are followed and report delays to manager / customer.</li><li>Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.</li><li>Update dispatch system with trailer weights, BOL numbers, and arrival / departure times.</li><li>Assist with planning and scheduling.</li><li>Monitor driver performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.</li><li>Escalate issues to the proper department, including accidents and safety violations.</li><li>Other office related duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>0-2 years of trucking experience.</li><li>1-3 years of office experience.</li><li>Proficiency in using phone systems and emails.</li><li>Working knowledge of supply chain operations.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.</li><li>Effective communication skills to interact with drivers, customers, and supply chain partners.</li></ul>Please submit a resume in PDF format.About Us:B&amp;W / CWS is a logistics provider that deals primarily with automotive freight.
