Dispatcher

We are looking to add a key player to our team of dispatchers, as a dispatcher you will be processing inbound/outbound calls from the driver as well as effectively communicating with them to ensure we have their ETA's.

Dispatchers work 12 hour shifts in an office trailer. Starting pay $17.40 hourly.

Shift available is a split shift. The hours are Friday and Saturday 4am - 4pm, AND Sunday and Monday 4pm - 4am. Availability to work any shift is a plus.

The job responsibilities and desired traits include but are not limited to the following:

• Dispatch drivers as they arrive and depart their destinations.
• Distribute shipping manifests to drivers.
• Compile daily total of trailers in yards.
• Update various systems and ensure accuracy in our data.
• Properly document and verify location of trailers as requested. Must ensure they are dropped at proper docks.
• Communicate via email, radio and over the phone with employees, suppliers and customers.
• Update systems with inbound and outbound loads.
• Must have great communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced, high stress environment.
• Must maintain positive attitude and accuracy in high stress situations.
• Logistics experience helps but is not required.

Position is paid weekly after one week hold back.
