We are committed to fostering professional growth and providing a positive, team-oriented workplace where your skills make a meaningful difference.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use following strict infection control protocols.</li><li>Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.</li><li>Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Carestream Softdent, ensuring all medical documentation is accurate and up-to-date while maintaining HIPAA compliance.</li><li>Provide chairside assistance by handling dental terminology efficiently, supporting procedures with aseptic technique, and monitoring vital signs when needed.</li><li>Support administrative tasks such as greeting patients as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, and managing medical records with precision.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental wellness.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of general dentistry procedures.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR systems like Carestream Softdent, including medical coding and documentation practices.</li><li>Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic technique, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.</li><li>Ability to operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners confidently.</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and pediatric dentistry considerations.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics.</li><li>Certification or training in chairside assisting, infection control practices, or related fields is highly preferred.
