Job Description

In this role, you'll oversee high-impact projects from start to finish, working with our expert crews, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards. Your leadership will directly contribute to the success of our employee-owned company, where every project strengthens the business for all of us. Key Responsibilities

<li>Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.</li>
<li>Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.</li>
<li>Schedule and conduct project meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.</li>
<li>Oversee day-to-day operations of roofing and sheet metal projects.</li>
<li>Ensure all projects are completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.</li>
<li>Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.</li>
<li>Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.</li>
<li>Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost effective resource allocation.</li>
<li>Track project expenses and manage financial reports.</li>
<li>Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.</li>
<li>Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.</li>
<li>Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.</li>
<li>Address any quality concerns promptly and implement corrective actions.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.</li>
<li>Provide regular updates and progress reports to clients.</li>
<li>Foster strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to promote repeat business and referrals.</li>
<li>Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.</li>
<li>Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.</li>
<li>Conduct performance evaluations and address any personal issues.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).</li>
<li>7+ years of experience in roofing or construction project management.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and industry regulations.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.</li>
<li>Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.</li>
<li>Strong leadership and team management skills.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. DataForma, Excel, Sage 300 CRE).</li>
<li>Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation.</li>
<li>OSHA certification (preferred).</li>
<li>Strong mathematical and analytical skills.</li>
</ul>
Physical Demands
<ul>
<li>Climbing: Climb ladders, scaffolding, and steep roofs to inspect work, oversee projects, or assist the roofing team.</li>
<li>Bending and Stooping: Frequently bend, stoop, and kneel to inspect roofing materials, perform quality checks, and access work areas.</li>
<li>Standing and Walking: Spend extended periods standing and walking on uneven surfaces, such as roofs, to supervise work and ensure quality.</li>
<li>Working at Heights: Comfortably work at various heights, sometimes several stories high, while adhering to safety precautions and harnessing when necessary.</li>
<li>Weather Conditions: Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.</li>
<li>Balancing: Maintain balance on steep and sometimes slippery surfaces while carrying materials or performing inspections.</li>
<li>Driving: Operate vehicles to transport materials or travel between job sites, which may require sitting for extended periods and physical coordination.</li>
<li>Sitting: Employees in these roles can spend a significant portion of their workday sitting at a desk or computer, performing data entry, and communicating with customers and colleagues.</li>
<li>Computer Use: Extensive use of a computer and keyboard is required, including typing, mouse operation, and using office software for data entry, document preparation, and financial analysis.</li>
