Dade Service has an immediate career opportunity for a part-time Project Support Coordinator at our DeLand location. We are seeking candidates with strong organizational skills and experience with assisting construction managerial tasks.Dade Service is a 4th generation family business design-build construction firm that values dedication, teamwork, customer relations and providing a quality product. We specialize in cold storage projects for the produce industry using insulated panel systems and refrigeration systems.Responsibilities and Duties<ul><li>Assist project managers in tasks for construction projects for pre-construction to project close out</li><li>Support preparation and maintenance of project schedules for materials, fabrication and installation</li><li>Assist in compiling project estimates for internal review</li><li>Request and organize subcontractor and material quotes for project bidding and execution</li><li>Periodic on site progress visits of both self performed and subcontracted work</li><li>Help ensure quality standards, installation requirements, and drawing compliance are met</li><li>Actively utilize project construction management software, Procore</li><li>Assist in creating, tracking, and managing RFI&rsquo;s and other procore documents</li><li>Develop and ensure successful completion of punch list at close out of projects</li><li>Help prepare weekly project updates for clients</li><li>Assist with permitting coordination and documentation as needed</li><li>Communicate effectively with superintendents, contractors, subcontractors, and governing authorities</li><li>Other tasks as needed to support TEAM DADE</li></ul>Pay DOEQualifications and Skills<ul><li>Experience in construction or project coordination field preferred</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>College education in management, construction, or related field is a plus but not required</li><li>Bachelor's (preferred)</li><li>AutoCAD experience is a plus but not required</li><li>Cold storage or commercial construction experience is a plus but not required</li><li>Prior experience in assistant project management, coordination, or construction support preferred (2+ years ideal)</li></ul>Benefits <ul><li>Flexible part-time schedule (designed to align with school hours where possible)</li><li>401(k) retirement plan after meeting eligibility requirements.
