Job description:Department to carry out hardware and software support activities for the company. This role has the opportunity undertake a growth path aimed at managing projects related to the improvement of ICT technologies in the company.Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide first-level hardware and software support to internal users.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.</li><li>Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.</li><li>Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.</li><li>Monitor IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and network connectivity.</li><li>Assist in planning and executing ICT improvement projects across departments.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and implement solutions.</li><li>Evaluate and deploy new software and hardware solutions to enhance business operations.</li><li>Document project requirements, timelines, and outcomes for internal reporting.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and resolutions.</li></ul>&middot; Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT policies and best practices, with a continuous improvement mindset that identifies opportunities to refine processes and standards.<ul><li>Stay informed on emerging technologies relevant to the automotive and motorsport industry.</li><li>Support digital transformation initiatives by integrating innovative ICT tools.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to end-users on new systems and technologies.</li><li>Coordination of technology efforts with Italy</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>Required Qualification<ul><li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Information Technology or a closely related field; relevant coursework or academic projects will be considered in place of experience.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft, office applications, and email tools.</li><li>Foundational understanding of computer hardware and software concepts.</li><li>Exposure to virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V) through coursework, labs, or personal projects.</li><li>Basic knowledge of network services such as DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.</li><li>Understanding of network architectures, including WAN, LAN, and VPN.</li><li>Interest or introductory experience with Microsoft Online services (e.g., Microsoft 365).</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively.</li><li>Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and independent follow‑through in assigned tasks while seeking clarity or guidance when appropriate.</li><li>Ability to work well in a team environment.</li><li>Aptitude for problem analysis and troubleshooting, with a desire to learn and grow.</li></ul>Physical DemandsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.<ul><li>Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel; reach with hand and arms, and stoop, kneel or crouch. Constant standing throughout the shift is required.</li><li>Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.</li></ul>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This position is part‑time during the academic year and full‑time over the summer.
