Danice Stores is seeking a sharp as a tack lead to our Accounts Payable department. In this key position, you'll tackle complex financial processes, finding ways to improve efficiency and accuracy.What you'll do:<ul><li>Resolve billing problems or errors with buyers and/or vendors by reconciling with the purchase order</li><li>Match checks with invoices for filing</li><li>Timely processing of vendor invoices, including discounts</li><li>Review accounts payable invoices for completeness and process with accuracy</li><li>Ensure necessary corrections are completed due to quantity, cost and product variances</li><li>Maintain healthy relationships with vendors and ensure proper communication</li><li>Assist with year-end audit by request</li><li>Verify processed checks have necessary invoices and documentation prior to endorsement by officer</li><li>Resolve store issues and inquiries by phone and/or email</li><li>Maintain impeccable filing</li><li>Organize and maintain rent roll and payment calendar</li></ul>Who you are:<ul><li>A skilled problem solver with 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience (plus, you've handled heavy volumes of energy and merchandise invoices along with travel and expenses)</li><li>Comfortable working independently and owning your work from start to finish</li><li>Highly organized and detail oriented</li><li>Able to think creatively and embracing daily challenges</li><li>Able to multi task with the best of them and consistently meet deadlines</li><li>Fast learner who is self motivated (of course) and makes well-informed decisions</li><li>Awesome at Excel, Quickbooks (Quickbooks REQUIRED) and a SHOPIFY EXPERT</li><li>EXTRA CREDIT for AS400</li></ul>About us:Danice Stores was founded in 1934 by immigrants from Eastern Europe with a hefty goal.
