Accounts Payable Coordinator

Danice Stores is seeking a sharp as a tack lead to our Accounts Payable department. In this key position, you'll tackle complex financial processes, finding ways to improve efficiency and accuracy.

What you'll do:

• Resolve billing problems or errors with buyers and/or vendors by reconciling with the purchase order
• Match checks with invoices for filing
• Timely processing of vendor invoices, including discounts
• Review accounts payable invoices for completeness and process with accuracy
• Ensure necessary corrections are completed due to quantity, cost and product variances
• Maintain healthy relationships with vendors and ensure proper communication
• Assist with year-end audit by request
• Verify processed checks have necessary invoices and documentation prior to endorsement by officer
• Resolve store issues and inquiries by phone and/or email
• Maintain impeccable filing
• Organize and maintain rent roll and payment calendar

Who you are:

• A skilled problem solver with 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience (plus, you've handled heavy volumes of energy and merchandise invoices along with travel and expenses)
• Comfortable working independently and owning your work from start to finish
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Able to think creatively and embracing daily challenges
• Able to multi task with the best of them and consistently meet deadlines
• Fast learner who is self motivated (of course) and makes well-informed decisions
• Awesome at Excel, Quickbooks (Quickbooks REQUIRED) and a SHOPIFY EXPERT
• EXTRA CREDIT for AS400
