Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong focus on diagnostics, R&amp;R, and engine performance. This role involves performing a wide range of repairs and services on various vehicle makes and models, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.Duties<ul><li>Diagnose and repair automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics</li><li>Perform repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, and engines</li><li>Conduct vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations</li><li>Execute alignments and wheel balancing to manufacturer specifications</li><li>Repair and service automotive electrical systems, ADAS systems, and other electronic components</li><li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive service tools effectively</li><li>Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex problems</li><li>Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and safety regulations</li><li>Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle</li><li>Communicate effectively with Service Writers regarding repairs needed and completed work</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven dealership experience or service technician background preferred</li><li>Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical repair</li><li>Experience with Honda, Acura, Toyota, and Japanese makes repair highly desirable</li><li>Proficiency in using schematics, auto estimating software, and diagnostic equipment</li><li>Mechanical knowledge of powertrain systems, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance procedures</li><li>Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment tools</li><li>Ability to read technical manuals and interpret schematics accurately</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service excellence</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude combined with attention to detail and safety standards</li><li>Ability to follow instructions, be detail oriented, and work as a team</li><li>Must be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record</li><li>Must have own tools and cart</li><li>Must be well groomed</li><li>Bilingual is helpful</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hourApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have your own tools and cart?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>auto repair: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>ASE Certification (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Torrance, CA 90501 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
