Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to assist us as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, with expertise in various finishing techniques and the ability to work with precision. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our clients' specifications. The Finish Carpenter will be responsible for executing detailed work that enhances the aesthetic appeal and functionality of spaces.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform installation of trim, and moldings to achieve a polished finish.</li><li>Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for precise cuts and assembly.</li><li>Fabricate custom pieces based on project specifications and schematics.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of tasks.</li><li>Conduct construction estimating to assess material needs and project timelines.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.</li><li>Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools related to carpentry work.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li></ul>Job Type: ContractPay: $200.00 - $350.00 per dayBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Orem, UT 84057 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Orem, UT 84057: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
