Finish Carpenter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to assist us as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, with expertise in various finishing techniques and the ability to work with precision. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our clients' specifications. The Finish Carpenter will be responsible for executing detailed work that enhances the aesthetic appeal and functionality of spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of trim, and moldings to achieve a polished finish.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for precise cuts and assembly.
• Fabricate custom pieces based on project specifications and schematics.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct construction estimating to assess material needs and project timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools related to carpentry work.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $200.00 - $350.00 per day
