We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Analyst with a strong foundation in Food Science to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience in food manufacturing or processing environments, with a deep understanding of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control protocols.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.</li><li>Monitor and document compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, and other food safety standards.</li><li>Perform microbiological, chemical, and sensory testing as per product specifications.</li><li>Investigate quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).</li><li>Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.</li><li>Collaborate with production, R&amp;D, and procurement teams to uphold quality benchmarks.</li><li>Support internal and external audits, including supplier quality assessments.</li><li>Ensure traceability and assist in product recall readiness.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Food Science, or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance within the FMCG, QSR, or food processing sectors.</li><li>Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, GMP, and quality systems.</li><li>Proficient in lab testing procedures and quality documentation.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.</li></ul>Preferred Attributes:<ul><li>Certification in HACCP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000.</li><li>Experience with shelf-life studies, packaging integrity, and sensory panels.</li><li>Exposure to cold chain logistics or perishable food categories.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Quality control: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Required)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
