We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Analyst with a strong foundation in Food Science to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing or processing environments, with a deep understanding of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Monitor and document compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, and other food safety standards.
- Perform microbiological, chemical, and sensory testing as per product specifications.
- Investigate quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and procurement teams to uphold quality benchmarks.
- Support internal and external audits, including supplier quality assessments.
- Ensure traceability and assist in product recall readiness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance within the FMCG, QSR, or food processing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, GMP, and quality systems.
- Proficient in lab testing procedures and quality documentation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Certification in HACCP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000.
- Experience with shelf-life studies, packaging integrity, and sensory panels.
- Exposure to cold chain logistics or perishable food categories.
