<div></div><div><div><b>Summary:</b></div>
<div>The Front Office Support Associate provides support to all functions within the medical office. Duties to include, but are not limited to: answer and route incoming calls; patient check in and out; collect co-payments/deductibles; update patient demographic information, schedule appointments; pull, file, scan medical records; various administrative tasks as required.</div>
<div><div><b>Schedule: </b>Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm</div>

</ul><div><div><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Answer and route incoming calls;</li>
<li>Obtains, verifies and updates patient demographic information;</li>
<li>Collects and records co-payments and/or deductibles;</li>
<li>Verifies charts contain all necessary paperwork;</li>
<li>Schedules return appointments, as required;</li>
<li>Scans medical records for EMR as needed or requested;</li>
<li>Ensures patient waiting area is free from trash and clutter;</li>
<li>Assists other office support positions as needed or requested;</li>
<li>Follow all health care privacy and safety rules and adheres to Dayton Physicians Core Values;</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

<div></div><div><b>Required Education and/ or Experience:</b></div>
<div>Requires a High School Diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of previous experience working in a Medical Office or administrative position, 2-3 years&rsquo; experience is preferred.</div>
<div></div><div><b>General Skill Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Excellent oral and written communication</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
</li><li>Experience working with a Practice Management system.</li>
<li>Attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position to provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.</li></ul></div></div></div>
