Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Review and analyze medical records to identify relevant diagnoses, procedures, and services.</li><li>Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT&reg;, and HCPCS Level II codes based on clinical documentation.</li><li>Ensure coding compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations.</li><li>Verify that coded data supports medical necessity and adheres to coding conventions.</li><li>Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.</li><li>Submit coding information for billing and reimbursement processes.</li><li>Assist with denials management by correcting coding errors and providing supporting documentation.</li><li>Maintain updated knowledge of coding guidelines, regulatory changes, and industry updates.</li><li>Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements</li></ul>*<ul><li>.Required Qualifications</li><li>Certification such as CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CCA, or equivalent.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Health Information Management preferred).</li><li>Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.</li><li>Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT&reg;, and HCPCS Level II coding systems.</li><li>Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and coding/billing software.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;9,149.38 - &#8377;31,352.25 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
