<div>The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and community, Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/ early college classes.</div>

<div>Ability to plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/ outline provided to insure course content and objectives are met.<br>

Ability to utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate various learning styles of students.<br>

Successful college teaching experience is required. Successful experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.</div>

<div>Associate of Applied Science in Building Maintenance degree or related Construction fields <i>AND</i> five (5) years of work experience in the Building Maintenance or related Construction fields.<br>

Climb and descend stairs in an aircraft on a weekly basis to instruct students. Assemble, build, calibrate, measure, fix, grind, torque or mend for practical, hands-on demonstrations.<br>

Maintain a classroom environment that promotes teaching and learning. Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction. Maintain and update curriculum to ensure alignment with FAA regulations and evolving industry and student needs.<br>
<br>
Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes.<br>

Maintain relevant relationships with the aviation industry. Maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.<br>
