SUMMARY:As a Bartender/Server at Del Paso Country Club, you will be at the heart of our hospitality experience, delivering high-quality service and creating memorable dining moments for our members and their guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving meals with attention to detail and professionalism, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and fostering a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. You&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to build relationships with our members, anticipate their preferences, and contribute to their &quot;home away from home&quot; experience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The following reflects management&rsquo;s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.<ul><li>Possessing complete knowledge of the menus and answering menu questions graciously and respectfully.</li><li>Taking food orders accurately and with a positive attitude.</li><li>Knowing and abiding by all club policies and applicable state and local laws when serving alcohol.</li><li>Presenting, opening, and serving bottles of wine in a professional manner.</li><li>Following safe food handling and storage procedures.</li><li>Preparing and demonstrating proper table setups, including polishing and organizing your station.</li><li>Preparing bar garnishes as needed.</li><li>Understanding and executing detailed setups and breakdowns of events by following Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).</li><li>Providing the highest standard of service by adhering to detailed steps of service.</li><li>Performing other duties as assigned to ensure the exceptional experience our members expect.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>1 year experience in a fine dining restaurant preferred</li><li>Current California food handler certificate</li><li>Strong organizational skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow</li><li>Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and self-motivated</li><li>Commitment to outstanding member service</li><li>Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions</li><li>Bilingual skills a plus</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor required</li><li>Reliable transportation</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Wine knowledge a plus</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.</li></ul>Work Environment :<ul><li>Stand and walk for long periods of time.</li><li>Lift and move up to 30 pounds.</li><li>Understand and respond to a diverse population.</li><li>Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously</li><li>Calculate figures and amounts</li></ul>Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hourWork Location: In person
