This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about retail management, sales strategies, and team development to make a meaningful impact.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in managing daily store operations, including overseeing sales activities and ensuring smooth shift transitions.</li><li>Lead, motivate, and supervise sales staff to achieve individual and team sales targets while maintaining high customer service standards.</li><li>Implement effective merchandising strategies and ensure proper stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities.</li><li>Conduct employee orientation, training &amp; development sessions to enhance team skills in customer service, POS systems, inventory management, and product knowledge.</li><li>Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, utilizing excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to resolve issues promptly.</li><li>Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory control, assist with purchasing decisions, and oversee stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.</li><li>Collaborate with management on budgeting, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and retail math analysis to optimize store performance.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies on safety, security, and store cleanliness while supervising overall store management duties.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in assistant management roles within retail environments with supervisory responsibilities.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities for effective team leadership and customer engagement.</li><li>Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.</li><li>Expertise in recruiting, employee orientation, training &amp; development to build high-performing teams.</li><li>Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and cash handling procedures.</li><li>Solid understanding of retail math including pricing strategies, sales management techniques, and budgeting processes.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise staff across shifts while managing time efficiently.</li><li>Knowledge of merchandising practices such as stocking, product placement, promotional displays, and inventory control.</li><li>Strong organizational skills paired with attention to detail for administrative tasks like record keeping and store audits.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence and phone etiquette.
