Our team is looking for a reliable, energetic EFDA. Four to five days a week. Radiographers license is required. Eagle Soft experience is helpful but not necessary.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Perform chairside assisting with proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, aseptic technique, and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.</li><li>Take digital dental X-rays and other dental imaging such as 3D scans while adhering to HIPAA regulations and radiation safety standards.</li><li>Manage patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and medical coding.</li><li>Support the dental reception team by coordinating appointments, updating medical records, and ensuring smooth patient flow within the practice.</li><li>Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment by following infection control guidelines and proper sterilization procedures for all equipment.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience working in a general dentistry, setting as a dental assistant or EFDA or currently are in an EFDA program</li><li>Familiarity with dental software systems</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards related to patient privacy and medical documentation.</li><li>Hands-on experience with X-ray techniques, medical imaging including 3D scanners, and radiographic safety protocols.</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe clinical operations.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>X-Ray Certification (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
