Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Office Manager to lead our busy dental practice with enthusiasm and expertise. This vital role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring exceptional patient care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in dental office management, Dental Insurance matters, and financial oversight to foster a smooth-running, patient-centered environment. Your leadership will inspire a collaborative team dedicated to delivering outstanding dental services while efficiently managing resources and practice growth.Duties<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the dental office team, including reception, clinical staff, and administrative personnel</li><li>Verify insurances for patients treatements with Curve dental management software.</li><li>Manage medical/dental records, patient documentation, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy</li><li>Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and data management</li><li>Implement human resources policies including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development</li><li>Ensure clinic operations adhere to healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements and OSHA guidelines</li><li>Oversee clinic scheduling, patient flow, and appointment coordination to optimize patient experience and operational efficiency</li><li>Monitor managed care contracts and utilization management processes to maximize revenue streams while maintaining quality care</li><li>Maintain proficiency in dental terminology, acute care procedures, and medical administrative support functions for seamless clinic operations</li><li>Lead efforts in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to support sustainable practice growth</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management with strong supervisory skills</li><li>Extensive knowledge of medical office systems such as Curve, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix,</li><li>Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, billing practices, and managed care negotiations</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards like JCAHO</li><li>Strong understanding of Dental terminology related to dentistry and acute care procedures</li><li>Excellent human resources skills for staff supervision, training, conflict resolution, and team building</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a fast-paced clinical environment</li></ul>Join our vibrant team where your leadership will make a meaningful impact on patient care while fostering a positive work environment.
