POSITION SUMMARYThe Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for Derby Dental Laboratory &mdash; welcoming visitors, managing all incoming calls, and keeping front-office operations running smoothly. This person sets the tone for every interaction with our clients, dental offices, and vendors, so a warm personality and polished phone presence are essential.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Answer, screen, and direct all incoming calls professionally and courteously</li><li>Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel</li><li>Triage incoming calls and assist clients with basic case questions such as expected turnaround times and case submission procedures</li><li>Assist with data entry, invoicing support, and basic office supply management</li><li>Relay messages accurately and follow up on pending items in a timely manner</li><li>Support lab staff and management with administrative tasks as needed</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree a plus</li><li>1+ year of receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred</li><li>Exceptional phone manner &mdash; clear, friendly, and professional</li><li>Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new software</li><li>Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-moving environment</li></ul>Dental or healthcare industry experience is a bonus, but not requirePay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
