Our client is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to join their team in the North West, where you'll play a vital role in upholding their commitment to safe, compliant, and efficient operations. Process Safety Engineer - The Details<ul> <li>Salary up to £75,000 DOE</li><li>Job Type: Permanent </li></ul> Process Safety Engineer - Requirements <ul> <li>Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in process safety management within the chemical or manufacturing sectors.</li><li>Strong knowledge of HAZOP, LOPA, risk analysis, and process safety regulations (e.g. COMAH).</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>A proactive, analytical mindset with a commitment to risk reduction and operational excellence. </li></ul> Process Safety Engineer - Responsibilities <ul> <li>Champion and support process safety initiatives across our chemical manufacturing facilities.</li><li>Lead HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify, evaluate, and control process risks.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with UK regulatory standards and company's global process safety protocols.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams-including operations, engineering, and technical services-to drive continuous improvement.</li><li>Support and lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.</li><li>Develop and maintain safety procedures, training materials, and documentation to promote a robust safety culture.</li></ul> About Us Detail2Recruitment acts as an employment agency in respect of this position.
