Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an OTR Box Truck Driver and take the wheel of a versatile delivery vehicle to ensure timely, safe, and efficient transportation of goods across various routes. As a vital link in our logistics chain, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for navigating routes confidently, handling cargo with care, and representing our company with professionalism on every trip.Duties<ul><li>Safely operate a box truck for over-the-road deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.</li><li>Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to meet schedule deadlines while maintaining flexibility for route adjustments.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of HOS , deliveries, pickups and delivery documentation.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status or issues encountered on the road.</li><li>Safely load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment like pallet jacks or lift gate when necessary.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as a commercial driver, courier, or delivery driver with a strong focus on OTR driving and customer interaction.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record; experience operating 26ft box trucks preferred.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.</li><li>Ability to perform manual lifting tasks safely and efficiently during cargo handling.</li><li>Strong organizational skills for route planning, documentation, and time management.</li><li>Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and troubleshooting minor issues on the road.</li><li>Physical stamina for long hours of driving, moving cargo, and performing manual tasks in various environments.
