Dexter, the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets is looking for a curious, detail-oriented <b>Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Intern</b> to support our digital marketing efforts at our <b>Lisle, IL location or Remote</b>.

<p><b>What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></p>
<p>You&rsquo;ll work closely with our marketing team to evaluate search performance, optimize content, and improve both external SEO and on-site search experiences. This is a hands-on role where your work will directly impact visibility, traffic, and user engagement.</p>
<ul><li>Analyze website and search performance using tools like <b>Google Search Console and Google Analytics</b></li>
<li>Conduct <b>keyword research</b> and identify content and search gaps</li>
<li>Assist with <b>on-page SEO optimization</b> (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links, content alignment)</li>
<li>Work with agencies on <b>GEO projects</b>.</li>
<li>Review search queries and user behavior to identify tuning opportunities</li>
<li>Support content refresh and optimization efforts</li>
<li>Help improve click-through rates (CTR) and search relevance</li>
<li>Create clear, actionable insights and recommendations for the team</li>
<li>Track and report on SEO performance and trends</li>

<li>Organized, curious, and willing to ask &ldquo;why&rdquo;</li>
<li>Ability to balance analysis with action</li>
</ul><p><b>EDUCATION</b></p><p>
You must be actively enrolled an accredited university working towards a bachelor&rsquo;s or master&rsquo;s degree program during the internship.</p><p>
Relevant fields of study include Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Analytics, Information Systems, UX, Journalism, or related disciplines. Students from other majors with demonstrated interest or experience in SEO and search optimization are encouraged to apply.</p><br>
