About the Role

Dexter is seeking a reliable and organized Office Administrator to support our Branch Manager and keep day-to-day branch operations running smoothly. This role serves as a central support point for the office, working closely with the warehouse, drivers, and sales team to ensure orders, paperwork, and communication flow efficiently.

If you enjoy staying organized, supporting a team, and handling a variety of administrative and dispatch-related tasks, this is an important role that keeps the branch moving.

What You’ll Do

  • Print and distribute pick tickets, dispatch paperwork, and invoices for warehouse and delivery teams
  • Answer incoming calls, route them appropriately, and assist with order entry when needed
  • Audit pick tickets, verify quantities, and process invoices
  • Communicate order changes, errors, and add-ons to branch staff
  • Sort, distribute, and send mail and faxes
  • File, organize, and maintain branch paperwork and customer records
  • Process approved credit memos, correction orders, and return authorizations
  • Prepare weekly driver mileage and delivery reports
  • Make bank deposits and post office runs as directed
  • Order non-inventory office supplies following established procedures
  • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office systems to keep records accurate
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with other branch needs as they arise

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to help wherever needed
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
  • Professional and respectful when working with customers and internal teams
  • Trusted to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and stay on task
