We serve knife enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers, and everyday EDC users &mdash; offering quality products, professional sharpening services, and exceptional customer experiences.The RoleWe are seeking a General Manager with a wide spectrum of experience to oversee daily operations across both physical stores and online channels. This is not a typical retail manager role &mdash; you will be leading a complex, multi-channel business that blends retail, e-commerce, marketplace management, IT oversight, marketing, and team leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership &amp; Team Management<ul><li>Manage and motivate staff across stores and e-commerce operations.</li><li>Oversee hiring, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.</li><li>Maintain a positive culture while ensuring accountability.</li></ul>Multi-Channel Operations<ul><li>Oversee sales across brick-and-mortar, websites, and marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Walmart and other marketplaces).</li><li>Ensure product listings, pricing, and promotions are accurate and competitive.</li><li>Maintain marketplace compliance and prevent account suspensions.</li></ul>Business &amp; Financial Management<ul><li>Drive revenue growth and gross margin improvement.</li><li>Monitor P&amp;L levers (labor %, COGS, shrink, fulfillment accuracy).</li><li>Collaborate with vendors and marketing partners.</li><li>Exploring new opportunities</li><li>Oversee inventory ordering and replenishment across stores, websites, and marketplaces &mdash; ensuring the right mix of stock, proper forecasting, and timely vendor orders. Ordering and vendor negotiations.</li></ul>Marketing &amp; IT Oversight<ul><li>Coordinate digital marketing campaigns, promotions, and community events.</li><li>Work with IT to ensure websites and POS systems run smoothly.</li><li>Provide insights into SEO, digital advertising, and customer engagement.</li></ul>Customer Experience &amp; Brand Building<ul><li>Maintain high standards for customer service in-store and online.</li><li>Organize local events, promotions, and partnerships to strengthen the brand.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>5+ years in retail or specialty store management, ideally with a strong multi-channel/e-commerce exposure.</li><li>Experience managing teams of 6&ndash;12 employees or more.</li><li>Knowledge of online marketplaces (Amazon/eBay/Walmart) and website operations.</li><li>Business acumen: inventory control, sales reporting, and financial literacy.</li><li>Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong work ethic and commitment to accountability.</li><li>Excellent communication skills &mdash; able to clearly convey expectations to staff, coordinate with vendors/partners, and engage customers.</li><li>Passion for knives, cutlery, or outdoor gear is a plus.</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Base Salary: $65,500&ndash;$81,500 (depending on experience).</li><li>Performance Bonus: Up to 10&ndash;15% annually, paid quarterly, based on:</li><li>Sales growth &amp; gross margin</li><li>Marketplace health &amp; order fulfillment accuracy</li><li>Employee retention &amp; team performance</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,500.00 - $81,500.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Retail management: 5 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
