Dieffenbauch &amp; Hritz (D&amp;H) is seeking an individual who is interested starting their career in land survey as a Survey Field Technician in our Bridgeport, WV office. This position is an entry level progressive position where you will be trained on the fundamentals of land survey.As a Survey Technician, you will go through a training period that will include training and developing an understanding of the following survey techniques:<ul><li>Survey procedures and techniques for boundary, construction, topographic, and civil surveys utilizing GPS, conventional total station, and leveling.</li><li>Keep proper field notes and sketches for work performed.</li><li>Operate survey equipment that includes: Trimble GPS receivers, TSC3 Data Collectors, total stations, levels, compasses, and tape measures.</li><li>Reading and understanding plans, maps, plats and other drawings, as well as, deeds right-of-ways, easements and other legal documents.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent, a degree in surveying or related field preferred</li><li>Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a motor vehicle report (MVR), ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background screening.</li><li>Willingness to work outdoors in all adverse weather conditions and terrain.</li><li>Experience in the oil &amp; gas industry a plus.</li></ul>Work Schedule: <ul><li>Monday - Friday: 10 hour days.</li><li>Overtime and occasional weekends may be required.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Competitive Salaries</li><li>Employer matching SIMPLE IRA retirement plan</li><li>Health, dental and vision insurance</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Short-term and Long-term Disability</li><li>Paid Time Off accrued throughout the year</li><li>Paid Holidays</li><li>Paid training.</li><li>Home every night - no per diem travel required.</li></ul>At Dieffenbauch &amp; Hritz, we take pride in delivering superior services to our clients in the energy, transportation and land development sectors.
