This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment dedicated to improving smiles and boosting confidence.Duties<ul><li>Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments, materials, and supplies for various dental procedures.</li><li>Assist dentists chairside during examinations, restorations, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments.</li><li>Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment like 3D scanners and medical imaging tools while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA and infection control protocols.</li><li>Manage patient records efficiently using EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, dental terminology, and treatment plans.</li><li>Monitor vital signs and assist with medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, answering queries, and guiding patients through their visit.</li><li>Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.</li><li>Support general dentistry procedures with knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental assisting best practices in pediatrics and adult care.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred, especially with pediatric dentistry or general dentistry practices.</li><li>Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, medical coding, and handling medical records is essential.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic or Dentrix enhances workflow efficiency.</li><li>Knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and anatomy is required to ensure patient safety.</li><li>Experience operating dental equipment like X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging devices is advantageous.</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology along with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages including pediatrics.
