Position Summary:The Guest Services Representative will need to be proficient in providing quality customer service and possess the ability to multi-task. Basic computer operating skills are necessary. The Guest Services Representative must be able to perform cash handling procedures.Essential Functions<ul><li>* Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments</li><li>Assist guests with registration, check-in, and checkout</li><li>Anticipate guests&rsquo; needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.</li><li>Handles requests and questions from current and futures guests received by phone or at front-desk.</li><li>Maintain complete knowledge of and/or where to access to following information:</li><li>o Hotel features/services</li><li>o Room types, numbers, layout, and d&eacute;cor</li><li>o Current and future room rates, special packages and promotions</li><li>o Daily house count and expected arrivals/departures</li><li>o Room availability status</li><li>o Scheduled conferences and meetings</li><li>* Read log book daily; record all pertinent information in log book</li><li>Assign rooms and keys</li><li>Collect and distribute messages for guests</li><li>Prepare bills and collect payment for visit</li><li>Assist in solving billing discrepancies</li><li>Answer inquiries regarding hotel area and services</li><li>Provide suggestions to hotel patrons of places to visit, eat, and shop</li><li>Maintain hotel records</li><li>Attend meetings and training sessions as necessary</li><li>All other duties as assigned</li></ul>Requirements:Job Specifications<ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to handle stress under pressure</li><li>Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team</li><li>Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills combined with the ability to work with diverse groups of people</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision</li></ul>Physical Demands<ul><li>Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas</li><li>Must be able to stand at front desk and exert well paced mobility for up to 8 hours</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High School diploma or G.E.D certificate</li><li>Previous experience in a similar position in a full service style hotel preferred</li></ul>APPLY HERE:https://recruiting.paylocity.com/recruiting/jobs/Details/3983560/Dimond-Center-Hotel-LLC/Front-DeskGuest-Services-Representative?utm_campaign=google_jobs_apply&amp;utm_source=google_jobs_apply&amp;utm_medium=organicPay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
