</p><p><b>Overview:
</b></p><p>This position provides administrative support to the Director of Finance and Finance Department overall who are responsible for accounting and treasury functions for approximately ten Diocesan entities.</p><p><br>
<b>
Job Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>As the primary point of contact for the Finance Department, direct all inquiries to appropriate individuals.</li>
<li>Recordkeeping, ensuring that all accounting records are in order both on and off-site.</li>
<li>Oversee Parish Bequest Archives.</li>
<li>Maintain parish corporation records.</li>
<li>Administer stock donation recordkeeping.
</li><li>Arrange logistics both on and off-site for all Finance meetings including Diocesan Finance Council, Foundation Finance Committee Meetings, Diocesan Investment Committee, Insurance Claims Review, and other meetings internally and externally.</li>
<li>Supports both the Director and Controller on all administrative tasks.</li>
<li>Assists Controller in accounting assignments that include disbursement request processing, check distribution, etc.</li>
<li>Other duties assigned.
</li></ul>Requirements:
<ul><li>Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Financial industry experience desired; banking, investments, insurance.</li>
<li>3-5 years of experience supporting several people.</li>
<li>Outstanding time management and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Excellent communications skills both written and oral.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Excellent clerical skills regarding filing, follow up, etc.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills.</li></ul></div>
