Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design, review, and develop electrical systems and layouts based on project requirements and applicable standards.</li><li>Prepare and review electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations, and BOQs.</li><li>Supervise on-site electrical works to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with design documents.</li><li>Coordinate with architects, structural, mechanical, and civil teams to integrate electrical systems into the overall project.</li><li>Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for material selection, technical approvals, and timely delivery.</li><li>Conduct site inspections and testing of installed electrical systems (e.g., cable routing, panels, lighting, grounding).</li><li>Assist in the commissioning of electrical systems and ensure proper documentation and handover.</li><li>Address technical queries, resolve issues during construction, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.</li><li>Support procurement by evaluating vendors and reviewing technical submittals.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers</li><li>Resolve complex technical issues, design conflicts, and site challenges</li><li>Lead value engineering initiatives and optimize system performance and cost.</li><li>Coordinate electrical interfaces with mechanical, architectural, and structural disciplines.</li><li>Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering.</li><li>5&ndash;10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the Building &amp; MEP.</li><li>Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and regulations.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux/Relux, and electrical calculation software.</li><li>Familiarity with construction methods, safety procedures, and project documentation.</li><li>Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and technical documents.</li></ul>Salary will be discussed during the interview.Job Type: Full-time

Senior Electrical Engineer

As the MEP Quantity Surveyor your duties and responsibilities will involve Evaluating forms of contract and advise on their suitability. Assist project managers with project programming matters and procurement of resources. Take financial lead &ndash; analyse and control project costs, prepare and substantiate claims where necessary, make recommendations for payments, submit applications and ultimately, endeavor to deliver projects on time and in budget. Prepare and submit KPI, job costing and financial reports, as necessary. Attend meetings and carry out site visits as and when necessary. Demonstrate clear knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines of the industry and H&amp;S to ensure legal compliance. Aim to strengthen client relationships and ensure the successful continuance of business operations. Review Supplier and Sub-Contractor quotes on won projects Prepare tender documents for suppliers and Sub-Contractors on won projects Prepare payments for Suppliers and Sub-contractors Keep track on project progress and report on plant, materials and labour spend Produce job costing and &lsquo;cost to complete&rsquo; reports on Projects Produce Operations Department financial P&amp;L reporting across all projects Production of a monthly management report to include; work in progress, monthly invoicing and monthly forecastingQualifications: Preferably degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline Several years experience in a Building Services environment Strong reporting skills A strong financial awareness, including P&amp;L and Cashflow Strong commercial and contractual awareness Knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Cost Objectives Strong ability to negotiate Able to read, produce and understand technical documentation / drawings and scopes of work Previous experience of using / implementing an ERP system would be advantageous A proficient user of Microsoft Office Products (in particular Excel)Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: AED3,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
