Job Overview Personal Assistant/Bookkeeper &ndash; Real Estate &amp; Construction DevelopmentLocation: Kingsland, TX (In-Office Required)Job Type: Full-Time/Contract EmployeeAbout the Role:We are a small but active real estate development and contracting company based in Kingsland, TX looking for a sharp, dependable Personal Assistant to support day-to-day business operations. You&rsquo;ll work directly with ownership on everything from bookkeeping and vendor communications to document preparation and project tracking. This is a hands-on role where no two days look exactly the same.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Process accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) accurately and on time</li><li>Manage and maintain books in QuickBooks, including invoicing, reconciliations, and expense tracking</li><li>Prepare and format documents, reports, and correspondence in Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Assist in coordinating communications with clients, contractors, vendors, and local agencies</li><li>Organize and maintain project files, schedules, and deadlines</li><li>Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in research, drafting, and administrative tasks</li><li>Handle general office management and provide direct support to ownership as needed</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Proven AP/AR experience</li><li>Proficient in QuickBooks (professional-level experience required)</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word</li><li>Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar)</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Must be able to report to our Kingsland, TX office &mdash; this is not a remote position</li></ul>Nice to Have:<ul><li>Background or familiarity with real estate, construction, or development</li><li>Experience supporting a small business owner or executive directly</li></ul>Why Join Us:You&rsquo;ll have real responsibility from day one, work closely with ownership, and play a direct role in active development projects.
