Seeking Kind, Innovative and Driven Recovery CoachThis is a unique opportunity to be an incredibly important part of someone&rsquo;s recovery journey. We are looking for a Recovery Coach to join our team in our beautiful country estate residential / detox facility just south of Dallas. Our programs are 100% voluntary, and the patients we serve come to us looking for a WOW experience. We are looking for Recovery Coaches that are passionate about making a real difference in our patients&rsquo; lives and who are excited about the prospect of helping them discover a new sober life.The Recovery Coach is responsible for providing structure, guidance and support for patients.<ul><li>Full-Time 12 hour shifts available, weekends as needed</li><li>Full-time employees are eligible for medical, vision, and dental insurance</li></ul>Responsibilities: The Recovery Coach (also known a Behavioral Health Technician) will be directly interacting with patients and responsibilities will include the following:<ul><li>Assist with the supervision of patients in their daily activities</li><li>Ensure the patients follow clinical schedule</li><li>Transport patients s needed</li><li>The position is physically demanding and requires extensive amounts of walking and standing. Applicants must be able to remain on their feet throughout the shift.</li><li>Make continuous rounds of the facility to ensure patient safety</li><li>Redirecting and supporting the treatment team with program compliance by patients</li><li>Ensure housekeeping and upkeep of buildings and grounds are clean</li><li>Get rooms ready for patient admission and discharges</li><li>Promote a favorable/positive work atmosphere</li><li>Attend in-services and educational training as necessary and as assigned</li><li>Seek out learning experiences and incorporate new knowledge in practice</li><li>Maintain flexibility and adaptability to expected and unexpected changes in the work environment</li><li>Maintains safety of the physical environment</li><li>Organize and function independently in an office environment</li><li>Complete training in UDS (Urine Drug Screen) collection</li><li>Perform other tasks and duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Direct patient care experience or an AA degree in Psychology preferred</li><li>Valid driver's license, good driving record, and a minimum of 5 years' driving experience</li><li>Knowledge of the 12 Step Programs - Addiction Recovery a plus</li><li>Previous Behavioral Health Tech/Recovery Coach experience with inpatient or outpatient populations, knowledge of substance abuse recovery, or individuals in recovery for 2+ years</li><li>Bilingual a plus but not required</li><li>Must be able to commute to Waxahachie, TX and work onsite</li></ul>We offer a challenging and rewarding work environment, growth opportunities, competitive compensation, and a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, and more exciting benefits!About the company: We are a provider of behavioral health services for adolescents and adults.
