Recovery Coaches needed for an Addiction Treatment Center in Waxahachie, TX!

Seeking Kind, Innovative and Driven Recovery Coach

This is a unique opportunity to be an incredibly important part of someone’s recovery journey. We are looking for a Recovery Coach to join our team in our beautiful country estate residential / detox facility just south of Dallas. Our programs are 100% voluntary, and the patients we serve come to us looking for a WOW experience. We are looking for Recovery Coaches that are passionate about making a real difference in our patients’ lives and who are excited about the prospect of helping them discover a new sober life.

The Recovery Coach is responsible for providing structure, guidance and support for patients.

• Full-Time 12 hour shifts available, weekends as needed
• Full-time employees are eligible for medical, vision, and dental insurance

Responsibilities:
The Recovery Coach (also known a Behavioral Health Technician) will be directly interacting with patients and responsibilities will include the following:

• Assist with the supervision of patients in their daily activities
• Ensure the patients follow clinical schedule
• Transport patients s needed
• The position is physically demanding and requires extensive amounts of walking and standing. Applicants must be able to remain on their feet throughout the shift.
• Make continuous rounds of the facility to ensure patient safety
• Redirecting and supporting the treatment team with program compliance by patients
• Ensure housekeeping and upkeep of buildings and grounds are clean
• Get rooms ready for patient admission and discharges
• Promote a favorable/positive work atmosphere
• Attend in-services and educational training as necessary and as assigned
• Seek out learning experiences and incorporate new knowledge in practice
• Maintain flexibility and adaptability to expected and unexpected changes in the work environment
• Maintains safety of the physical environment
• Organize and function independently in an office environment
• Complete training in UDS (Urine Drug Screen) collection
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Direct patient care experience or an AA degree in Psychology preferred
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and a minimum of 5 years' driving experience
• Knowledge of the 12 Step Programs - Addiction Recovery a plus
• Previous Behavioral Health Tech/Recovery Coach experience with inpatient or outpatient populations, knowledge of substance abuse recovery, or individuals in recovery for 2+ years
• Bilingual a plus but not required
• Must be able to commute to Waxahachie, TX and work onsite

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
