Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher for the closing shift to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children&rsquo;s lives by supporting their growth, learning, and well-being during the afternoon and evening hours. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for early childhood education to create a safe and stimulating classroom environment. Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development plans that promote literacy education, math skills, and social-emotional growth.</li><li>Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment and managing children&rsquo;s behavior effectively.</li><li>Engage with children in age-appropriate activities, including toddler care, physical education, and early intervention strategies.</li><li>Help prepare lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and Montessori or other educational philosophies.</li><li>Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and welfare at all times.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents regarding children&rsquo;s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and standards. Skills</li><li>Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings.</li><li>Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.</li><li>Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical activities.</li><li>Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and classroom management strategies.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members effectively.</li><li>Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment.</li><li>Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational approaches such as preschool curriculum development.
