We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher for the closing shift to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s lives by supporting their growth, learning, and well-being during the afternoon and evening hours. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, patience, and a passion for early childhood education to create a safe and stimulating classroom environment. Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development plans that promote literacy education, math skills, and social-emotional growth.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment and managing children’s behavior effectively.
• Engage with children in age-appropriate activities, including toddler care, physical education, and early intervention strategies.
• Help prepare lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and Montessori or other educational philosophies.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and welfare at all times.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and standards. Skills
• Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical activities.
• Experience with special education needs, early intervention programs, and classroom management strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members effectively.
• Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational approaches such as preschool curriculum development.
