Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities
• Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including toddler care and preschool exercises
• Help with classroom setup, material preparation, and cleanup to ensure a stimulating learning space
• Monitor individual needs of children, including those with disabilities or autism, providing personalized support as needed
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational atmosphere
• Support curriculum development efforts by contributing ideas for lesson planning and activity execution

Skills

• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages
• Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings
• Knowledge of special education strategies and behavior management techniques
• Ability to assist with lesson planning across subjects like literacy education and math fundamentals
• Familiarity with classroom management tools and techniques to create a positive learning environment
• Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable
• Ability to adapt activities for toddlers and preschoolers using Montessori or other educational approaches
• Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for early childhood education
