 We are looking for a
 
 resilient, ambitious, and results-driven Area Sales Manager
 
 who thrives in a project-based, solution-oriented sales environment and is motivated to create long-term value rather than transactional sales.
 
 
 The Area Sales Manager will play a key role in developing Disproquima&rsquo;s presence in Turkey by driving
 
 project-based sales of value-added food ingredients
 
 . This position requires a strong ability to understand customer formulations, translate technical solutions into commercial value, and manage long sales cycles with persistence and determination.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Project-Based &amp; Solution-Oriented Sales: lead and manage project-based sales processes, from identifying customer needs to proposing tailored ingredient solutions and converting projects into long-term business.
 </li>
 <li>
 Market &amp; Business Development: develop and execute a sales strategy to grow Disproquima&rsquo;s market presence, with a focus on value-added ingredients rather than commodity trading.
 </li>
 <li>
 Customer Relationship Management: build strong, trust-based relationships with customers in dairy (preferred), bakery, confectionery, beverages, meat&amp;savory, and other food sectors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supplier &amp; Product Development: work closely with Disproquima&rsquo;s global product managers to introduce new suppliers and products, ensuring effective market penetration and sustainable growth.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiation &amp; Deal Closure: manage complex commercial negotiations, balancing technical value, pricing, and long-term partnership objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Persistence &amp; Opportunity Follow-Up: demonstrate strong follow-up discipline and resilience in long and challenging sales cycles, maintaining momentum until project conversion.
 </li>
 <li>
 Market Intelligence: monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to proactively identify new opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reporting &amp; CRM Management: maintain accurate records of customer visits, projects, and opportunities in CRM; prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Representation &amp; Networking: represent Disproquima at industry fairs, technical seminars, and customer events to strengthen brand visibility and market credibility.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Who are we looking for?
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 5 years of sales experience in food ingredients, preferably in value-added or specialty ingredients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience in project-based and solution-driven sales with long sales cycles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Dairy sector experience is a strong asset.
 </li>
 <li>
 Highly ambitious, resilient, and persistent personality with a strong drive to succeed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of the Turkish food industry and customer decision-making processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in English and Turkish (written and spoken).
