Job Overview

We&rsquo;re seeking a detail-oriented Licensed Insurance Agent to join our internal quoting team. In this role, you&rsquo;ll focus exclusively on crafting accurate, competitive quotes for new business opportunities &ndash; no cold calling or lead generation required. If you thrive in a collaborative environment where your expertise directly impacts our growth, this is your chance to shine. 
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Review and process new business submissions from our marketing and referral channels. 
</li>
<li>Generate timely, customized insurance quotes using agency management systems and carrier platforms. 
</li>
<li>Collaborate with account managers and underwriters to ensure quotes align with client needs and risk profiles. 
</li>
<li>Provide exceptional internal support by communicating quote details, coverage options, and recommendations. 
</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records in our CRM system and stay updated on carrier guidelines and market trends. 
</li>
<li>Contribute to team goals by hitting quoting targets and improving turnaround times.</li> 
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Active Property &amp; Casualty (P&amp;C) insurance license. 
</li>
<li>At least 1 year of quoting experience in an independent insurance agency. 
</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of personal lines products (e.g., auto, home, rec.). 
</li>
<li>Proficiency with quoting software (PL Rating or other Rater) . 
</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. 
</li>
<li>A customer-first mindset with clear written and verbal communication skills. 
</li>
<li>High school diploma required; associate&rsquo;s or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.</li>
