Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. We do not allow company vehicles to go home with employees), and all power tools are provided. Hand tools should be provided by employee (you will be the only one using your hand tools).If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities<ul><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing installations and repairs</li><li>Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques</li><li>Perform construction plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, pipe threading, soldering, and fixture installation in accordance with safety standards</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent future issues</li><li>Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate work schedules, ensure proper sequencing of tasks, and adhere to project timelines</li><li>Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning during installation processes</li><li>Assist with remodeling projects or handyman tasks as needed to support overall construction site operations</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven field service experience working on construction sites with a focus on plumbing systems</li><li>Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing practices including schematics reading and pipe installation techniques</li><li>Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, HVAC systems, and mechanical components relevant to plumbing work</li><li>Familiarity with carpentry skills for framing or supporting plumbing fixtures during installation or remodeling projects</li><li>Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly</li><li>Valid class D drivers license required for use of company vehicles.</li><li>Prior experience working with blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings in a construction environment is highly desirable</li></ul>Join us as a Journeyman Plumber and become part of a dedicated team committed to building reliable infrastructure while advancing your skills in a vibrant construction setting.
