Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. We offer paid time off, a company vehicle (to use for work only, and fuel card is used for work purposes only. We do not allow company vehicles to go home with employees), and all power tools are provided. Hand tools should be provided by employee (you will be the only one using your hand tools).

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing installations and repairs
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques
• Perform construction plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, pipe threading, soldering, and fixture installation in accordance with safety standards
• Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent future issues
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate work schedules, ensure proper sequencing of tasks, and adhere to project timelines
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning during installation processes
• Assist with remodeling projects or handyman tasks as needed to support overall construction site operations

Experience

• Proven field service experience working on construction sites with a focus on plumbing systems
• Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing practices including schematics reading and pipe installation techniques
• Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, HVAC systems, and mechanical components relevant to plumbing work
• Familiarity with carpentry skills for framing or supporting plumbing fixtures during installation or remodeling projects
• Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
• Valid class D drivers license required for use of company vehicles.
• Prior experience working with blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings in a construction environment is highly desirable

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
