Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized HR Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various administrative functions, ensuring efficient office operations, and enhancing employee relations. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.PURPOSETo provide critical support to and within the Human Resources Department including maintenance of employee data, compliance with all laws and company policies, and assistance in the execution of HR initiatives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES&middot; Enter and maintain employee data in multiple data bases and software systems&middot; Create metrics with advanced tables and charting in Excel to analyze payroll and employment data&middot; Distribute Company Wellness publications to employees and support Wellness initiatives&middot; Complete verifications of employment&middot; Manage Employee Badge System&middot; Draft and design written communication and company postings&middot; Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately&middot; Prepares files and forms for new employees&middot; Coordinate the Employee Self Service program&middot; Attend and actively participate in meetings as required&middot; Assist in the coordination of company events&middot; Organize and maintain personnel records in compliance with laws&middot; Ensure compliance with Labor Law postings at all locations&middot; Maintain confidentiality at all times&middot; Provide excellent customer service&middot; Participate in HR projects&middot; Manage multiple duties simultaneously&middot; Work in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all times&middot; Perform other duties as neededMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS&middot; Valid Driver License&middot; 2-year degree and 2 years&rsquo; experience in Business, HR or other related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience&middot; Experience with HR software, HRIS or HRMS preferred&middot; Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills&middot; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite&middot; Excellent data entry and typing skills preferred&middot; Human Resources experience preferred&middot; Detail-oriented, analytical thinker, and problem-solver&middot; Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and react to change productively&middot; Ability to navigate multiple computer systems&middot; Ability to work on tasks independently or in a team environment&middot; Excellent attendanceWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS&middot; Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time&middot; May be occasionally required to exert up to 20 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects&middot; The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc;&middot; Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor&middot; Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers&middot; Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of othersJoin our team today and contribute to creating a positive work environment while enhancing operational efficiency!Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Rock Island, IL 61201 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Rock Island, IL 61201: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
