Dos Chris&rsquo; Bakery &amp; Charcuterie Co. is now accepting applications for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team! Our primary focus is to deliver our famous Sparkle (kindness) through top-quality bakery items visually, in taste, and continued consistency. We are looking for friendly and engaged people who have a passion for helping and spreading kindness!Minimum Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications:<ul><li>Detail oriented</li><li>Ability to work fast in a busy environment/kitchen</li><li>Ability to work with other team members and support the kitchen team in any capacity</li><li>Ability to take initiative and and complete tasks to support the kitchen and team</li><li>Ability to read and follow recipes</li><li>A drive and passion for creativity</li><li>Organizational skills</li><li>Experience with inventory</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old</li><li>Food handler&rsquo;s certification</li><li>Familiar with a commercial kitchen</li><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Clean hygiene</li><li>1 year experience working in a commercial kitchen</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50lbs</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old</li></ul>Preferred Experience and Qualifications:<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen</li><li>Culinary experience or training in the food industry is a plus</li></ul>Shifts:<ul><li>Shifts begin at 6am and end at 3pm Tuesdays through Saturdays.</li></ul>Job-Type:<ul><li>Full-time</li></ul>Job Duties:<ul><li>Dishwashing</li><li>Vegetable and fruit preparation</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work space</li><li>Maintain and assist in cleaning the kitchen</li><li>Maintain our high standards for flavors and visual standards of our products</li><li>Create and contribute to weekly bakery flavors</li><li>Assist bakers with cupcakes and cake preparation as well as any additional bakery tasks</li><li>Assist with keeping inventory </li><li>Uphold and contribute to our team atmosphere</li><li>Maintain health code regulations and hygiene while handling food items properly, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation to prevent spoilage</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Pay: $15.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
