Wage Range: $18.35 - $27.53

As a Freight Coordinator, you will assist in the planning and execution of business assets, carrier partners, and internal and external partners to optimize service and performance initiatives for the Traffic Department within Canada and the United States.

WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO
<ul>
<li>Maintain timely and professional communication with internal and external customers on issues impacting service and overall performance</li>
<li>Support carrier partners through all aspects of onboarding</li>
<li>Audit carrier financials associated with freight movement</li>
<li>Analyze carrier performance metrics and conducts carrier performance reviews to influence desired behavior changes</li>
<li>Supports Freight Sales Representatives with custom haul order activity including entry, execution, and accessorial recovery</li>
<li>Works on various projects and reporting as assigned to help monitor costs and improve service</li>
<li>Ability to step in and carry out all aspects of carrier assignment and related activity as needed</li>
<li>Support ATM in gathering of supporting documents for claim investigation</li>
<li>Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position</li>
</ul>
YOU MUST HAVE
<ul><li>High school diploma or General Equivalency Degree</li>
<li>Proven analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work well with both internal and external customers</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including intermediate knowledge of Excel</li>
</ul>

<li>Previous experience in transportation</li>
<li>Experience working in both team and independent settings</li>
<li>Effective organizational skills</li>
<li>Skills to be successful in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines</li>
