This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalized care and attentive support.Duties<ul><li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support</li><li>Administer medication as prescribed, following HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality and safety</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning</li><li>Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia by implementing specialized care strategies</li><li>Utilize equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and prevent injury during heavy lifting tasks</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of living spaces</li><li>Follow individualized care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals</li><li>Document patient observations accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams</li><li>Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being in a home or community setting</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience in assisted living, home health, hospice care, or long-term care environments preferred</li><li>Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring</li><li>Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are a plus</li><li>Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease is highly desirable</li><li>Ability to perform light to heavy lifting safely using proper techniques or assistive devices like Hoyer lifts</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately</li><li>Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients&rsquo; quality of life</li><li>Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed</li></ul>Join our team to deliver compassionate caregiving that transforms lives!
