If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love driving, this position is your chance to accelerate your career while enjoying the satisfaction of keeping goods moving smoothly.Duties<ul><li>Safely operate Class B commercial trucks with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations</li><li>Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and proper handling</li><li>Deliver goods to customers efficiently, managing route driving schedules and maintaining punctuality</li><li>Inspect vehicles daily for safety issues, perform routine maintenance checks, and report any mechanical concerns promptly</li><li>Secure loads properly on refrigerated trailers, flatbeds or tanker trucks to prevent shifting or damage during transit</li><li>Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and records of all shipments and vehicle inspections</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during transit</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving operations involving freight delivery</li><li>Strong knowledge of route planning, load &amp; unload procedures, and safety protocols for truck operation</li><li>Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles with precision and control</li><li>Familiarity with various truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks</li><li>Ability to handle forklift operations for loading/unloading cargo when necessary</li><li>Excellent driving record with a commitment to safe driving practices and compliance with DOT regulations</li><li>Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with customers</li></ul>Embark on an exciting journey as a Class B Truck Driver where your expertise keeps goods flowing seamlessly!
