The candidate will be offered competitive compensation and benefits package.Position Title: Accounting Associate with emphasis on AP/PurchasingHours: Monday through Friday: 8am to 5pm - OnsiteCompensation: $22-$24 an Hour. Pay is Commensurate with ExperienceJob Function: This position supports the accounting team with a key focus on all aspects of the accounts payable and purchasing cycle. Strong negotiation skills for best vendor pricing/lead times with a fundamental understanding of the payable cycle and accounting principles.Typical Duties Include:<ul><li>Receive and review for accuracy vendor invoices, match to packing slips, posting and paying.</li><li>Track expenses and report any discrepancies.</li><li>Assist all departments with purchasing materials in a fast-paced production environment</li><li>Intermittent Invoicing Support</li><li>Receive and distribute mail</li><li>Complete vendor required and other paperwork accurately and maintain correct records</li><li>Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management</li></ul>Qualifications: Education - Associates degree in business or related field and progressive experience in accounting is required.Job knowledge/Skills required:&middot; General accounting experience.&middot; Experience with Accounts Payable and Purchasing.
