This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced medical setting, contributing directly to quality patient care and operational excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time, ensuring comprehensive and precise medical documentation.</li><li>Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently, including data entry, updates, and retrieval of patient information.</li><li>Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations by preparing supplies and documenting clinical notes in accordance with medical documentation standards.</li><li>Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security at all times.</li><li>Support the medical team with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient records.</li><li>Demonstrate strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to accurately capture clinical details.</li><li>Facilitate effective communication between patients and providers by providing clear instructions and answering basic questions about procedures or forms.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working in a medical office or clinical environment is highly preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems is essential for efficient documentation management.</li><li>Experience with medical transcription, typing skills, and writing clear, detailed notes is required.</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA compliance policies and clinical confidentiality standards is necessary to protect patient information.</li><li>Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology enhances accuracy in documentation and patient interaction.</li><li>Previous emergency room experience or exposure to fast-paced clinical settings will be advantageous for handling diverse patient needs confidently.</li></ul>Join us in making a meaningful difference by supporting healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care through meticulous documentation and compassionate service!Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hourWork Location: In person
